Natasha Walker, LMSW

Natasha is a Licensed Master level Social Worker. Natasha graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Wichita State University in 2018 and went on to complete her Master of Social Work degree in 2019.

Natasha has extensive experience working with children and families in a variety of settings. She has more than two decades of experience being employed in the foster care setting and community mental health centers as a case manager, wrap around facilitator, parent support specialist and most recently, a therapist. Additionally, she has both personal and professional experience working with children with an autism diagnosis.

In 2019, Natasha attended the Trust Based Relational Intervention Practitioner training at the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development in Texas. During this week-long intensive training, she was able to learn new skills to assist families who have been affected by foster care and adoption. Natasha herself is a foster and adoptive parent and understands the complexity of raising children with a traumatic background. She also understands how trauma affects the family and couple relationship.

In addition to foster care and adoption, Natasha has worked closely with adults, children, couples and families. She has experience with anxiety, depression, attachment issues, trauma, loss, behavior disorders, marital conflict, and school concerns. Natasha provides a welcoming and supportive atmosphere to facilitate growth and change in her clients.

When not assisting clients in their growth, Natasha enjoys spending time with her family and Indigo, their Great Dane puppy, who is in training to be a therapy dog. She also enjoys spring thunderstorms, winter snow and giving back to her community and profession.
